In my adventures to get healthier, and get rid of a little belly along the way I decided to try running.
I got an app that is suppose to make my couch potato self run 5km. It is quite the handy little trainer. It tells me when to walk, run etc. Right now I am walking 90mins and running 1min for a total of 20 minutes with 5 minutes warm up and 5 minutes cool down.
I completed my second run this morning, I am suppose to do three a week before moving to the next level. I am a little worried that I wont be able to do level two, I am finding it hard to do level one!

ReplyDeleteI made it up to 3km running when I was doing it. Had to stop, but about to pick it back up! :D
We ran to one of the podcasts available on itunes, which has techno-ish music on it. Not my first choice but the beat is helpful to keep your pace going.

DeleteWith regards to not making level two, I had the same problem. We ran each week twice. This doubles the length of the program, but it does help build your stamina!

Deletehey andrea! I found you through the BBN. Running can be really fun. I tend to listen to a ton of techno music. I feel it really gets me pumped. I love running and I think as long as you just try the distance won't matter. Little by little you will notice that you are running for a longer period of time and that's all that counts!
