Lately I have been thinking a lot about adoption. I am single and nearing 30. To the contrary of my teenage self, I don't have a huge desire to be pregnant. I would love to just be a mom. My hope would be to adopt a child from here in Ontario.A child 3 years old or older.
That being said, I currently live in a (small) one bedroom condo. So for the first time in my life I need a 3-5 year plan.
. In the next year I will save everything I can. Hopefully save enough so next fall I can buy a (at least) 2 bedroom townhouse or condo.
. In two years I will start seriously researching adoption and doing everything I can/need to do to prepare.
. Hopefully in 3-4 years I will start the adoption process.
After that hopefully live happily ever after.
