It is steamy yes, pretty darn steamy. I can see what all the talk is about in that department.
I hated Christian Grey through most of it. I don't think I have hated a character quite so much.. I sort of came around towards the end to tolerate him.
The book itself is a bit predictable, and a bit repetitive. If your looking for an easy read with lots of sex, I would say this is the book for you .
It did end and leave me interested to see what happens in the second book, perhaps I will start it this afternoon!
